OUR HISTORY

Subhayasri Saree Producer Company Limited, founded in 2022 in Kadiri, Andhra Pradesh by Smt. P. Yasoda of the Women Organization for Rural Development (WORD), aims to revive and celebrate Hand Block Printing. With support from the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) and Assistant Director (Handicrafts) Tirupati, Subhayasri has transformed the lives of over 500 women artisans through training and market access.

In 2023, we intensified efforts in capacity building and market expansion, focusing on preserving heritage, empowering artisans, and showcasing exquisite handcrafted fabrics. Discover our collection and explore the rich tradition of Hand Block Printing.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Our primary goal is to facilitate direct engagement between artisans and urban markets by providing a digital platform for seamless interaction between rural craftsmen and nationwide clients. We are dedicated to advancing the production, promotion, and marketing of handicraft items, fostering holistic development within our artisan community, and driving socio-economic progress. Through a range of services including technical support, consultancy, research, and financial assistance, we aim to support our members’ interests and enhance the scope of allied activities within our cluster.
